The European Science Alliance for Agriculture and Food (ESAAF) has published a one-year stock-take of the European Commission’s Vision for Agriculture and Food, marking one year since the Vision was presented at the conference “Shaping the future of farming and the agri-food sector” in May 2025.
The document reviews progress so far and highlights key priorities for turning the Vision into concrete action through upcoming EU policies. Drawing on scientific evidence, ESAAF outlines how a food system perspective can support a more sustainable, competitive, and resilient European agri-food sector toward 2040.
