The European Science Alliance for Agriculture and Food (ESAAF) calls on the Member States and the European Parliament to help secure research and innovation as the foundation of the Soil Mission towards 2030. With more than 60% of EU soils degraded, continued investment in science is crucial to achieve the goal of 100 Living Labs and Lighthouses as well as delivering on scientific solutions in support of the Soil Monitoring Law.
